Weird Colored Egg

Every now and again I get an Egg like the one on the left in this picture from my copper maren. Any idea what causes this?

It's just an extra layer of calcium and I wouldn't worry too much other than ensuring your hens aren't getting too much calcium in their diets.

Her spraygun is superspraying the calcium onto the egg. Teehee.
