Hi,
Ive had this chicken for about 2 years since she was a chick. I only feed her Purina

Plus Omega-3 SunFresh

Recipe Poultry Feed, some meal worms, some left over veggies and whatever snail they can steal from the garden. Her eggs have always had excess calcium on the outside and sometimes even on the inside. Last 2 eggs changed from a light blue to a dark green color and the very last one actually came out with only a membrane around it instead of a shell. I figured they had plenty of calcium since i had extra calcium on those previous shells. How did she all of a sudden run out of calcium? Do I need to change their diet?

Any help is appreciated :)
Thanks

These things just happen sometimes. Keep oyster shell in a bowl for her all the time, she will eat what she needs. There is something going on in her process that is causing this. It will likely work itself out without your help. If not, she may just have something that is not quite working right. Give it some time, time will tell.
