Weird eye colors

Hmm weird. I had a salmon faverolle chicken with one green eye and one orange eye.

I wish I had a clearer picture, but sadly about a week ago we lost her to a fox.

Occular Mareks could be the cause.

My Cornish bantams are supposed to have pearl eyes, but I have a few that last I checked could pass as green.

I don’t think so. I got her from Murray mcmurray hatchery. Maybe it was some genetic mutation? She never acted like she had issues seeing, And her eye looked completely normal besides the color.

You’re right that it does look normal… the only birds I have seen with two eyecolors (especially one being greenish) have had mareks though.
