I've recently noticed my rooster's eye looks like this. Is this of any concern?

He hasn't had an injury that I'm aware of. I just thought it was a normal eye with a unique mark like people get, until a family member pointed it out and expressed some concern. Now that I'm looking at it, I'm wondering too and was wanting to see if there are any others out there with eyes or an eye like his and how they are.I am not sure of the cause for the misshapen pupil. Has he ever had an injury or infection in the eye before, or a history of fighting with another rooster? The ocular form of Mareks can cause an irregular pupil, but the colored iris may become faded to gray, and the pupil can become smaller and irregular. Here is a picture of a normal eye and one on the right with ocular Mareks:

Could it be a blood spot on the iris rather than a misshapen pu
Yes, I'm hoping it's nothing. Looking it up on the net only shows a bunch of horrible scenarios and nothing that looks like my bird's eye.Well, hopefully others will chime in with their knowledge and experiences.
