Weird feathers on one wing

We had 4 baby chicks, but had one die over the weekend. The one that died had weird brown feathers on one wing and then it just wouldn't move. The other three looked good, except one had stunted wings. They all have thrived and grown so much, but weird brown feathers showed up on one of the stunted wings. Is this normal? I may just be paranoid, but it is still bothering me.
