Weird feathers

Our Americana (bought from hovers hatchery- not sure if she's an ameracauna or Easter egger) is about 6 weeks old and is getting feathers in and they are standing up on her one wing. She appears healthy and is active. We've tried to gently lay them down and it just appears that there's a lot more feathers under them. Does anyone know what's up with this?

Im not sure but could it possibly have frizzle feathering????? Just a suggestion!

That an interesting thought. I've never had a frizzle so I'm not sure. I have heard Easter Eggers were mutts though. Hmmmm....

Have you wormed them? Certain wormers can cause the feathers to grow back like that.

If you look at how Hover spells Americana and the fact they come in assorted colors says it is an EE.

I've only have used diatomaceous earth. Does that cause feathers like that?
