Weird Hatching Question....first time...

So my Frizzle hen has been sitting on her eggs for 20 days, one more day until hatch. My question is can I hear the eggs when they start piping and how will I know if they have started hatching? She is VERY protective and won't even let me put my hands near her. I am anxious to see the babies and I hope they will hatch successfully.

Unless you want to lose a finger, I wouldn't be putting your hand in there!

You should be able to hear them peeping, but I bet she will make more sound, encouraging them to hatch.

No you cant hear the pip but the chicks will start peeping in the eggs once it has pipped. It can take a while for the chicks to come out so be patient.

I guess i will just have to wait until I see little fuzzy heads peeping out from under her wings. I just thought there may be some way I could tell when the eggs start hatching.
