Weird long hard poo?

My 2 1/2 month old partridge bantam Cochin roo passed this and it alarmed me, he didn't seem to be in any pain but I'm worried nonetheless. Please any advice or answers are welcome, thank you.

Thank you for the welcome, and it seems to be, it wasn't a worm but I'm not sure exactly what it could've been, it's very stiff but is sort of stringy on the inside (I prodded with a stick)

It doesn't look like a worm, but if it if poop and not something he swallowed, it looks to me like he might have a problem in his intestines. Watch him and see what his next poop looks like.
