Weird looking egg possibly lash egg

Yes, every one is out of amoxicillin capsules. They do have 10% amoxicillin powder to put in the water at several sites. I think giving most antibiotics directly is the better option. Enrofloxacin which is banned for chickens, but sometimes prescribed by some vets for reproductive infections, is available without a prescription.

Dosage is 0.25 ml for a 5 pound bird twice daily for 5 days.

Do you know why it's banned?
Because of antibiotic resistance of campylobacter in chickens. Humans can get it from undercooked chicken or handling them. Oddly enough, it is still used for dogs and cats without a ban. So that is why some get it for the reproductive issues that chickens have. Enrofloxacin is also Called Baytril. Vets are prohibited from prescribing it for chickens, but some quietly do it by having the clients sign an agreement to not ever eat the eggs.

Hey guys I think I found out what chicken laid that egg!
This is my almost 2 year old lavender Orpington
She barely started growing her feathers back after molting in the winter she also stopped laying and is trying to start up again I guess ??
Anyway found her with what looks like a broken soft shell egg falling out her butt buts it’s stuck
I currently have her locked in one of the coops with food and water was looking for calcium supplements to give her but I don’t have any
My mom said magnesium helps absorb calcium so should I give her this???
