Weird Noise?

One of my chickens makes this super weird noise where she kinda bawks while grooming and it comes out funny. I don't think there's anything wrong with her health-wise. But I've never heard any of my other 5 chickens make this sound. Anyone else ever heard this? I try not to laugh at her when she does it, but it's kinda hard not to.

I've had chickens for my entire life, but I've never heard one make quite that noise before. They can be so entertaining and weird.

I literally just got my first chickens this afternoon and one of them made this noise. I’m so relieved to see it’s something amusing and not concerning!

This girl does it frequently. I've heard one of my other Easter Eggers do it a couple times. It's so dumb sounding.

It really is! I was the only one who heard it and I ran to my other half to try and tell him about it. But the only way to explain it is by doing an impression of it. I even googled “chicken noise balgalagala”. Unsurprisingly, no results.

This sounds somewhat like a mixture between gurgling and wheezing.

When did you last de-worm your chickens?
I would feel her crop and see if it is totally empty in the morning.
And look inside her beak if there is some mucus or yellowy film in her throat.
