Weird poop (anxiety overdrive)

I just lost my favorite 20 week old pullet yesterday out of the blue. Healthy and just laid an egg to dead in 2 hours. Hoping to get a necropsy but it’s not helping to not know anything in the interim.

Anyway.

I found the attached poop in the overnight shavings in the coop this morning. My anxiety is in overdrive. Thoughts? I can’t think straight at all.

I was going to send it off for testing at the vet, buuuut the husband let the dog out and he ate it so y’know.

That looks like normal intestinal shed however, that poop looks very very dry. Was she actively drinking water before she died?

This wasn’t from her this is from a flock mate, overnight poop in the coop. They have 3 water sources during the day in the run.
