Weird rooster behavior- should I be concerned?

He’s 9 months old, and he has no interest in mating with any girls - instead, he “mates” with water jugs, flower pots, food bowls, water bowls, rocks, chairs, you name it. He also likes to take naps in bushes - which I don’t see that unusual, I’ve just never had any other chickens go to sleep in a bush. (During the day time.)

Personally I wouldn’t worry about it. He’s young and eventually will figure things out.
I once had a neighbor with a ram that ‘mated’ with a barrel on a regular basis—funniest thing to see but made it difficult to explain to my very young children. At least your can’t hurt the water jugs. 😊
