Weird Rooster feathers

Silver laced wyandotte 6 months old. Will his tail feathers grow anytime soon

If he was feather picked as a chick/young bird he will eventually grow tail feathers, but it looks almost as if he is rumpless. Check to see if he has caudal vertebrae/Pope's nose. If he is rumpless he will never grow a 'normal' tail.
