Weird Silkie feathers

I picked up our little silkie roo the other day (trying to make him love me) and noticed these extremely hard, brittle spots on his wings. Is it just really intense pin feathers?? Or something else? He’s about 6 months old.

That's the feather shaft... looks like it's missing its feather parts.. in other words, eaten by feather mites or lice.. *possibly* over groomed or plucked by flock mates.. I'm guessing parasites.

I’ll check him over really well. I haven't noticed any parasites or over grooming/plucking, but it could be! He’s the only one who seems to have this going on. His feathers have always been a little funky, but this has me confused.
