Weird thing on foot?

When I took my almost 4 week old chicks outside today, I noticed that one of my Midnight Majesty Marans has this weird thing growing out of her feet above her toes. She has them on both sides. Could it be a feather growing in? The other Midnight Majesty Maran has feathered feet while she does not. Any ideas what these could be? Thanks y’all!

So does that mean there’s a chance her feet/legs will feather out? I assumed since her legs weren’t feathered, she was going to have bare legs. The other Maran’s legs/feet have been feathered since she was a wee thing

I think you're right, if she was going to have a lot of feathers she would have had them all along. I'll bet she is just going to have a tiny bit, like she only got a bit of that genetic makeup. Never seen that before.
