Weird toes

What is going on with his toes? He was hatched the day before yesterday and keeps falling over and getting stuck on his back. He almost drowned in the water because he fell in it twice.

Curly/crooked toes are not all that uncommon and it's usually a simple fix. You should tape the toes straight for a few days, the sooner you do it the better the chances of the issue being corrected.

Falling over could be caused by the toes but it may also have splayed legs but it's hard to tell from the photo.

Try not to have him on a slippery smooth surface. Lots of shavings ot paper towel so he has grip.

I think it also has splayed legs, it's still falling over like crazy after I taped the toes.
