So one of my incubated chicken eggs has piped a small hole but there is a weird transparent-looking membrane(i think it's a membrane) in the egg. I see something behind it - maybe a beak? the humidity levels should be fine because I just had an egg hatch 10 min ago and the humidity level hasn't changed... I think it may be rocking, I looked at it just now and it slowly rocked. What do i do? I can't take a pic i'm doing this with my computer. It does have a cracked piece of shell broken off but nothing else... Please help!!
If this will help, today is day 23, I have the temp at 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit and around 70% humidity.:hmm

The membrane is supposed to be there. It protects the chick in the egg and holds vital veins and moisture. As long as you can see the beak poking through the chick can breathe just fine ☺️.

Also day 23? And you're just now seeing pips? That's very odd. It sounds like your temps are off. Have any others hatched?
