Some of my hens have started sounding weird lately. Like if they have water or bubbles in their throats or lungs? They are otherwise acting normal. They also look very healthy. (Combs bright red, no discharge on eyes, nostrils or anything) I will be giving them VetRX under their wings and in their water. Is there anything else I can do? What do you think is causing this?

Have you checked to make sure their crops are emptying overnight?

How many hens have this sound? Can you get it on video so we can hear it? Upload video to Youtube and provide a link.
No, but I will.

One of them, a broody, is the one who does it the most often and has the worse sound. I thought I heard 2 others do it too, but even if they did, it doesn’t seem as pronounced.

I stumbled across a video someone uploaded:

Sounds like what mine are doing, except they don’t look lethargic or sick.

Have you added new birds recently?

I'd still check the crops to make sure they are emptying.

In the video you found, it looks like the hen has respiratory illness. Read the comments on the video and look for updates from the Youtuber. It seems they sought vet care and medications were given.

You can try an antibiotic like Tylosin to see if it makes a difference.
