Just cracked two eggs and noticed their yolks were an odd, off white/greyish color, not the bright yellow I am used to seeing from my hens. Both eggs came from my American Game hens so I at least know who laid them. Anyone know what that means and if it's anything to worry about? Seems like it's something new every week over here. Argh.
All my hens appear healthy and they get a balanced diet of mash/scratch/seeds/vegetation/insects so I don't know what to think. It was so off putting I threw them away. I was afraid to eat them.
