Sorry- the second I pressed 'submit',my internet connection decided to take a dirt nap. Grrrr, sometimes living in the country is rough!
Anyhow, to make what was a long story short...
I have a
Brinsea stuffed with home-laid eggs, started on Jan, the 28th as day 1. Tonight I was checking the eggs and candling to check development, and out of all the eggs (which all had perfect live embryos) ONE egg had zero development, and was ice-cold! None of the eggs around it were cold, it wasnt on an outer edge or near a spot where any air could have chilled it or anything. It was really, really cold- not just cooler than the rest, but cold enough to have stopped any and all development. Even if it wasnt fertile, I would think it should still be warm, right?
I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen?
The incubator was the one that was on sale for $99 dollars (there was a long thread on here about it) and I got the auto turner as well. I kept temps and humidity right (seeing as everysingle other egg developed and was warm to the touch, I figure those are correct) so I cant figure what would cause thegg to be SO cold.
Any ideas?
