well, pretty much no bc of the feathers but they can get bit on the face or comb, but normally they just scratch it off and then eat it as it flies away lol :cool:

Thank goodness! I have been wondering the same thing. I live in Florida and those buggers try to carry me away when I am outside.

I’m head over heels for my Olive egger, Taco. She’s 15 weeks old and has me wrapped around her toe. She had a small flock, sadly all but her where takin by a stray dog I am hoping to bring her home a coop mate tomorrow or Saturday. :) I have my eye on a young laying Silver leghorn, pictured below.
