Quote: Onyx automatically changed the timbre and timing of his tune to match the beautiful harmony the violinist was playing. Then he realized what was happening, and stopped playing for a measure as he looked around in surprise. He quickly picked up the tune and finished the song, watching the young girl play.
"She has to be a fairy to be this good," he thought. "She's almost as good as me!"
He played, watching her fingers slide along the strings. She was thin, with long brown hair tied back into a pony tail. She had her eyes closed as she played, obviously caught up in the music. As the last note echoed into silence, she looked up and her eyes really caught his attention, a stunning electric blue.
"Hi!," Onyx said, lowering his pipes. "I am impressed! I wrote that myself and you picked up the harmony like you had heard it a hundred times before! I'm Onyx from Red Fountain, what can I call you?"

"Oh. Sorry about that." Kat blushed, embarrassed. She didn't normally play in front of so many people, especially not complete strangers. "I'm Kat." She said, introducing herself. "I'm a music fairy, so I can pretty much hear only a few measures and pick it up right away." She shrugged.
