Old guy about a mile away from me claims he traps and kills 3-4 coons every week all summer long. Coons are crazy thick in my area and we don't have enough coon hunters around. Lots of corn crops for them to eat around here. Let the coon war begin!

Moe - Good luck on the coons. Our neighbour to the north took out 20 klast summer. Neighbour to the west took out another 40. We get them on our porches and on the roof. I don't believe there is any good solution to them, and I don't think their population will ever go down.

I hear that and know it's true. My uncle last year shot 200 in a week from the tree line around one corn field. I am going to do my best to keep my birds safe and at the same time try to take out as many as I can.

Thanks for the suggestion on going to the local feed store. I forgot, but I went to school with the owner, so I think I can get him to order what I want.
