Welded Wire for run, can't find 1X2, only 2X4

I bought 2x3 welded wire at Lowes for $35.00. It is 48" x 50'. Then I added poultry netting around the bottom of the run like others on BYC.

I used 6' tall 2x4 wire for the sides and top of my run. Then I put 2' chicken wire around the bottom to keep everything's appendages properly in or out.

got the 8 by 10 run finished all but the tin roof, have a tarp over it for now, my lil cjicks are growing fast and I need more room already, so am adding a 16 by 10 to the 8 by 10 pen,,am using the 2 by 3 inch welded wire from TSC, it costs $109 before taxes, will try to send pics soon,,lol,,then comes the job of building 2 coops

what are cage rings? i am trying to figure a way to make a chicken coop out of the wire mesh and looking at many possibilities

Tractor supply has 1 x 2 welded wire. Called cage wire. I had to order mine took a few days to get it
