I need a pattern for a welder's cap. Both my boys are welding now. I looked on google but thought I would try here before I take a chance on ordering one there. I know buy one and take it apart but I can't find them around here, small town.
Thanks

Thanks Cyotoe I found that today. Not sure about enlarging things but am going to try
How is your assie doing? We got a new Boxer (he is 6year old retired breeder) am teaching him hand signals. No he is not deaf but smart and it helps DGD with learning it also

AWESOME!!! Dogs learn sign so much faster than the spoken work. That and body language are keys. The fun thing with sign is, you can come up with sign that are just for you and your dog. Lots of folks use the thumbs-up sign for "Yes" "Good Dog" we use the surfers thumb and pinkie up, shaking the whole hand- "hang loose" sign for "Good Girl!" That was the first one Katie learned. After that BOOOOM things really took off. She knows close to 30 words and phrases now and she hasn't even been with us a year yet.

My Icee learns with touch signals. Not only is she deaf, but also 90% blind. A rub on the right ear means Good Girl. Rub on the left means pay attention. Light tap on the end of the nose, Stop that. A touch at the end of her rump means sit.

It's been really HARD, but extreemely rewarding to train these 2 girls. When people get to meet Katie out in public, they don't realize she is deaf until I tell them.

Glad the girls got paired up with you. Keep up the great work. Does Katie help the other one get around sight wise? So far Hank knows sit, down, no, and is learning off, most of the time I just give him "the eye" and he knows to get off.
My DD learned to sign as a kid in school. Have tried for years to get her to test out to be an interptor (sp?). We are teaching her 3 kids as her DS is learning to talk. With the job market being what it is I think she will go ahead and take some refresher classes and take her test for that. a mother can only hope

Awesome. My father-in-law wears a welder's cap often, so I will have to try the pattern in the link. I think he'd love a custom made one.

Chevy we need to see pix of the little one

What kind of fabric is that? Just in case you used something else, welding caps should be 100% cotton to be flame resistant, synthetics and blends will melt and catch on fire.
