well he was dragging his shell around... please help!

He was out of the egg but still dragging it around by his chord, the yolk was fully absorbed also but now that the chord broke he is bleeding from his belly button a bit and it looks kinda puffy and swollen, I think what I read to do at this point is "cup" him til it absorbs fully and stops bleeding? He is in the incubator in a cup with a dry paper towel in the bottom to help it dry out. Does this sound like im doinb everything I should be? Is there anything else I could be or should be doing or differently? Any advice please? I only got 2 eggs out of 7 this far and he's one of them :/

He is napping in the cup right now and i dont see any fresh blood, so I wanna leave him alone for a bit to just do his thing, I'm gonna look at it in an hour or two but will definitely post a pic as soon as I get in there again is there anything I could safely put on him to stop the bleeding? In case he is still?
