Yeah, we figured if we were going to do it, to do it big! DH said he wanted 100...told him he gets litter duty with 100! We plan to sell our extra eggs once the majority of the hens start laying consistently. Our family can easily go through about 5 doz a week; especially with active kiddos. (We have 2 teenage boys and a 17 yr old girl that eats nearly as much as they do, the 9 yr old boy is quickly catching up to his brothers! ) We know there are folks that prefer farm eggs, and the closest ppl that we know that sell extras is 30min out of town!
