Well hello there :)

Hi Everybody!

My name's Peter, 33, from Poland.

I've been raising chickens for quite some time now, but this year I've decided to separate them by breed and start hatching eggs in order to sell the chicks.

Currently raising: wyandottes (black, blue, silver pencilled and partridge), vorwerks, marans, Italian lavender leghorns, buff rocks and green shells (a fairly new breed created in Czech Republic - my neighboring country).

Looking forward to interact with you guys and exchange ideas :)

You have a lot of different breeds. Are they Large flocks or just small flocks with a lot of variety? I have a small flock of bantams mottled cochins, four one rooster and three hens. I have marans in a larger flock of 21. You listed nine breeds. Are they all in seperate pens?

They are all large fowl and for now they are 'mixed' with each other, as in no separate pens. I am planning to start breeding my own marans, vorwerks and buff rocks next year, though, so it's a matter of time before they're separated.
