Well I did it. I added an egg!

Eggs in the bator for 5 days now, but I couldn't resist the temptation to see if my cornish X/turken mix egg would hatch so I added it last night.

DH didn't even frown when I explained a staggered hatch to him.

I sense gryeyes hand in this.

I've had multiple staggered hatches, Kat and they've done fine.
Good luck hatching your...NakedCorn, er...Turkish, um...whatever it ends up being!

I put the first eggs in the incubator on the 26th of December.. then I put three more in on the 28th.. then another batch on the 30th.. and another batch on the 6th.. lets not discuss the 4+ eggs I have added here and there to test the fertility of our new rooster.. I just dated the egg with lockdown date..lol. I think we need to make a list of acceptable excuses to add eggs.. I am running out!
