Well I did it! I gave my silkies a bath and they couldn't be madder!

LOL my silkies stink. I have two other brooder boxes besides the one they are in, and they don't smell nearly as bad. I don't know why, but I do know that they had poo all over their foot feathers. I cleaned out the brooder today hosed it out and decided to put some baby shampoo in with some clean water and one by one I put them in. They didn't like it too much and right now they look like some wet rats.

Atleast it is hot outside, they won't take too long to dry.

I wish the camera was working, they look so sad!

I wish your camera was working too. and mine too. Ivory dish soap is always good too. Once I washed a white chicken someone had told me a drop of blueing inthe water will make them shine; well I had a blue chicken for weeks, looked kinda tie dyed
