I bought one of those Little Giant things and I can't get the temp right

I will get it just below or just below 101.0 degrees and just above 102.0 degrees, no matter how slightly I turn the stupid knob!

Thank goodness my broody is sitting on the majority of the eggs!

I've been told that lower is better than higher. My homemade incubator runs on the lower temp and I still have really great hatches from it.
