Ahh. Sometimes serendipity is the mother of invention! DH decided we needed to do something when he came home from work & both the EEs fuzzy faces were slicked down from them laying their whole face in the water when they drink (which they only started since it got so hot). I'm sure they would have figured out to stand in it eventually if it had been bigger.
Ah, chickens - sometimes they seem so dumb, others they surprise you with their tiny brains.
