Thats awesome that they are allowing you to get photo's though. You may think this is horrible, but I absolutley do not allow a person in the unit after they have been late for at least 10 days. Their belongings are the only thing that gives me the leverage to get them to pay their bill, but what I will do is ask the auction winner to leave aside personal blongings such as photo's, becasue they have no monitary value to them, but have great personal value to the Previous owner. IMO the Managers are being quite resonable to be taking $500 off your bill and allowing you to remove items once the Lien has been imposed. I hope the return of the photo's gives you some comfort, I'm very sorry that you will loose the rest though.

You may want to sell some of it yourself so that you can pay the rent.

I am so sorry to hear this. I didn't read all the posts but this was something I never even knew occurred. I thought the auctions they held were for property people abandoned. Could you get an equity loan on a car or something?
