So day 21 with brahma eggs no signs so far had so many issues with temp up and down since yesterday nt sure they even gona hatch but il give it til day 25 then candle them keep u all updated xxx

If they haven’t pipped externally you could probably open it safely. I would really only do that in the case of real incubation issues, which it seems you had. To up the humidity quickly, you can add a paper towel inside, and if you need to open it, put a bit of water on the paper towel with a straw ( or a pipette if you have 1). The wide surface area of the damp paper towel will up the humidity quickly and briefly.Because if i open incubator and they are still alive the dry air could shrink wrap them xx
I used to use a generic yellow lit incubator. The humidity was all over the place and the temp was pretty trash. I went to a slightly better model where the eggs are turned on their side and the space to keep warm had a much lower ceiling space as to better keep the right temp. My hatch rate went way up. Ive found the heat and humidity are more easily kept in smaller incubators height wise. When I was using the yellow kind that just tips the eggs back and forth, I was getting horrible hatch rates.
