So this morning it was around 55F this morning with some light rain. My 3 week old ducks and geese had totally trashed their brooder, So I had my dad come over and help me put a tarp over their run. Well between this morning and now the temp dropped to 50F, a 25mph wind started blowing, and the rain got heavier. So I couldn't just have my dad do all that work and not even have my duckies use it! I brought them out despite the weather, then I realized how stupid my babies are. They wouldn't go into the dog house, and they wouldn't even stay under the tarp! They didn't seem cold or anything, so I left them out there. I hope they are ok.

Anyway, now I am totally out of bedding and I can't get any more until tomorrow evening. Well, now that I have done all my complaining I am going to rescue my babies.

Please make sure they get warm and dry, and watch out for respiratory problems. Vitamins would be a good idea. They can be pretty tough, but not always.
