Well they got their first treat way sooner

My niece was over tonight she just turned 4. I was talking to my brother in law when I heard her say chicky has cracker. Well without me knowing it she threw in a cheese nip cracker. It was kinda cute watching the keep away game. But like a mean old dad I ended the game by taking it away. I dont know if she threw anymore in before I seen that one. I wasnt too worried about her reaching in and grabbing one because the lid was on.

Could you tell me how old do chicks need to be before they can have treats? I did give my 3 week olds some oatmeal.

ginbart...my girls got oatmeal and eggs (boiled and scrambled) at one week old....at 2 weeks old they started with the steamed broccoli, 3 weeks they went beserk for plain baked yam and their first garden worm.

Mine are were only 4 days old. Yes they probably would have been fine. But I didnt feel like chancing it.
