Well we FINALLY got new windows!

Not sure I am going to like having another payment to make each month. BUT I LOVEEEEEEE the new windows!
We have lived here for 10 long years with ice forming on the inside of the windows.
Then water hitting the floors when it thaws. (I have killed many a mop cleaning it up.)
Then there was the constant draft.

The house is 50 years old this year. I guess it needed a present!

It has been a long time coming but thank goodness we were able to swing the financing.
I have it figured that if we do it right we can pay it off in 26 months!

I just had to share my little hurray!

I remember the ice on the inside of my old windows.New windows was some of the best money I ever spent.

I better not let DD come read about this! She gets snow inside her window when there really blustery snows. We hope to replace windows "someday" -- but I confess, I hate to lose the "old glass" in ours. They are antique and have that ripply glass in them *sigh*.
