Oh I'm not giving up yet, lol. Just happened the hens went broody so I let them go with it. My flock has just been laying a month or so and I thought what the heck, I have four of my own eggs in the bator now, wasn't sure of their fertility and I am seeing what I need to see as far as candling, there is one in there now with a blood ring and a couple that seem to be developing but they are brown so kind of hard to tell, I also moved the bator to my closet thinking there is less temp change in there as there would be in the rest of the house. I candled a few under the hens and actually seen the veining I was sooooo excited. So yea you have to learn as you go.
And I am still wanting some of those blue babies, lol.
