We have four golden comets and four white leghorns. I think a the eggs came from couple of the comets.

Yes. These are the first. This is a project my grand daughter wanted to start, so we got our flock when they were just chicks this past March. She was so excited when we opened the door to the nesting boxes and found the eggs.

By your post of Well, well, I wasn't sure if you were egg-cited or not! Usually we get "LOOK at my first Egg" or I just got my first egg!", I finally got my first egg!". When I read, Well, well, I thought hum?? But, now I know you are EGG-cited and I am glad your happy.

LOL Instead of “Well, well”, I should have said “Finally!” We knew our chickens had reached the age when they’d start laying - it was good to see it finally take place.
