Welp finally did it! broke down and ordered day old chicks.. NOW WHAT

NOW WHAT DO I DO LOL!!! never had day old chicks beofre, but I guess technically they will be 2 day old chicks when they arrive.. kinda scary, excited and keep asking myself "what did you do" HAHAHA
anyhoo they will not ship till the 5th of Sept, so I have time to come to terms with it.. :O)
ordered them from Welp Hatchery, they were the only ones who had the Jersey Giants and the standard Cochins.. split the order to 20 of each.. NOW THE FUN BEGINS!!

My Jersey Giants are a riot. They are still growing into their bone structure so they run around looking like vultures. They are huge. Can't imagine what they'll look like when they FINALLY stop filling out. They mature Soooo Slowly. But they're sweet.

We are getting pretty excited about the chicks coming.. we are going to get them set up in the finished basement (tv room) so we can keep and EYE on them.. HEHEHEHE
the grandkids are coming for a week the middle of Sept.. so this should be FUN!!!
