Welsh female looks like bad knee??

Update on our female.welshie.. she was.doing better and out of the blue today she isn't walking again on her leg. Just laying around. I haven't seen it as i worked 15 hours today and 12 hrs tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be too late for me to check it tomorrow.. i do know these things take.time. but the last 2weeks have been promising... and she has NOT been with any drakes and the other girls dont really have an issue with her... she keeps to herself and her sister joins her often.... ill keep you posted

That’s great news!!
so I have some sad news ... we had to have out poor Claire put o sleep. After 2 months and her ankle( not her knee dislocation) not healing, we took her to the vet.
Her foot was very swollen and warm and that was very unusual. After her visit we were told she would never heal, that she possibly now had a bone infection and the vet felt like After the last reinsurance, that she seemed to be in pain, this time. It was a hard decision, but felt we couldn't let her go on how she felt amd chose to put her down humanely. We are very sad and hope that we will find other birds soon . Her mate is lonely and we are now down 5 girls. I have 5 male ancona I would like to rehome if you or anyone knows of a place. We are in NC north of Charlotte (Huntersville). Thank you for all your help in the past . I hope to get more girls soon to help her mate(s) rally back.

Contact Carolina Waterfowl Rescue they will put your boys up for adoption and hopefully find them good forever homes.

I am very sorry you had to put Clarie to sleep, not always an easy decision but sounds like the best one.
