Post your welsh harlequin and rouen names here, also do a pic if it has something to do with the name. I'm getting a WH in 28 days and would also like some advice one what to name it. It is silver and female. THANKS :) My Rouens are Kumalie (The drake) and Aiva (my hen). I would love to hear all the great names so have fun and start posting!!

Have fun naming your ducks!!! I like to name them after characters our of books I have just read, or people in history that I admire, or sometime just an old fashion name that I like.

This is Adelaide my sweet shy Silver WH hen.

And this is Sapphire.

My other WH's are Willow (the darker hen) Sophie (she is a very washed out hen not breed standard) and Eloise (she is a gold WH) and my Drake is Wilberforce. My first WH flock (who sadly died from a black fly attack) were named Mr. Dick, Emma and Dora. :)

. Love all the names and photos!! Sorry about your first flock :/ I would like to name my WH something that starts with Z. My brothers want me to name her watermelon lol

We have a flock of 8 ducks. Only one is WH and her name is Blanch. If you want Z names how about Zinnia or Zena. Baby name books come in handy. My In Laws name their calves alphabeticlly. The Q and X were harder years.

I have a baby name book but there are barely any Z names :/ When I was first choosing the breed of duckling I wanted, I chose a Magpie and named her Zuri before I even got her. Then I did more research and switched to a WH. But now Zuri doesn't seem to fit my WH. I am kinda leaning towards the names Zarya, Sweet pea and Morning Glory even thought the last two aren't Z names. X would be a difficult letter, with the Q you could just do a common name like Quackers. I don't own 26 ducks though so I won't have to go through that any time soon XD Calves would be harder to name with Q.
