We just recently incubated some ducks 1 welsh harlequin, 2 black Swedish cross and 1 pekin. We started with 2 of each but only 4 of the eight hatched, they were all doing fine and had life on the last day I candled them at 22 days so I'm not too sure what went wrong. Anyhow, my question for all you duck goers is being different breeds, will they grow up fine together and be happy though they likely will not be mated pairs? And second, we will not be keeping these guys as our city does not allow us to have them in the city limits, so they are going to a wonderful little farm not to far away so we can still visit, how long should I keep the, before rehoming? They are already very attached to myself and to our little daschund dog (the dog more so to them, she follows them around and keeps everyone in order)

They can go to their new home anytime your ready for them too, as long as the ones getting them know what their needs are right now, heat for warmth feed etc. They sure are cute, and
