I have just bought two welsh harlequin ducklings a couple of days ago they are lush I know alot about all farming live stock as I have just qualified in agriculture but just wondering whats ur throughts on them and one thing I wounded if I want her to lay egg do I have to fed layer pelts thanks meg xx :)

I don't have WH's but I can say that if you want them to lay then they will need either Layer when they begin to lay or an All Flock with oyster shell along side. But don't feed the layer till they lay the first egg, too much calcium isn't good for them when young. and

I don't like to feed layer to my drakes, gander and roosters so I buy an All flock feed and just put out Oyster shell on the side for my layers, they eat it as needed and the boys don't mess with it.
 
I seen oyster shells for poultry can he eat them x
