Welsummer 3-4 week old pullet or cockerel?

Hi folks
Best guess on whether this will turn out to be a pullet or cockerel? I chose this chick as a day old for the strong V on the head and eyeliner and back pattern but she/he is looking more masculine than I thought at this age!

Pullet!
I love this breed and have a few, I used to a beautiful cockerel, but he passed sadly...
She how she has dark markings, pullet has dark markings where cocks have barely any markings!

Where did you get it? Are you 100% sure it's a welsummer?

I had a pullet that I thought was a boy, but turned out to be a hen!

It does act and stands like a male, but I wont bet my bottom dollar on it...

As a young chick the coloration says hen. But the comb is pretty large for a hen. I think you 'll have to be a little bit more patient to say for sure.

And it's legs are thicker than usual!

Probably a cockerel. It's comb is really large for a 3-4 week pullet. The male specific pattern won't come in until 6-8 weeks old.

Yes definitely pure Welsummer but backyard quality. I’m annoyed as I thought I was being so clever choosing the day old chick with the female colour patterns

The legs are huge! I’m sadly realising it’s a boy and I wasn’t as clever as colour sexing as a day as I thought

Well, gender specific feathering comes in at 12 weeks... and you might be guessing till then XD

Ok pretty split feedback so far, I’ll be a little more patient and report back in a couple more weeks. My money is on cockerel
