She's gorgeous and looks healthy, but I noticed when I got her two weeks ago that she looks a lot puffier than another Welsummer I had before. She also has a strange look to her eyes, like they're more round than most chickens. I chalked it up to just a cute unique quirk.
I watched her with the other chickens tonight though and noticed that while everyone else was pecking madly at the pile of chickweed I had just tossed in, she was off to the side puffed up, eyes closed, rocking a bit and waking up only when she was hit by a sneeze.
What could this be?? I had them all on Sulmet for 6 or 7 days last week because I was worried about some sneezing I'd heard from a couple. A week of the stuff seemed to make zero difference though so I just stopped giving it to them. I've put it back in their water tonight and will run it for another week, but any other suggestions??
