Welsummer chicks - not sure if this is a breed discussion or a chick discussion... both really

When sexing Welsummer chicks based on markings is it a definite or a guess? I have two that are fluffing up, third is still hatching and based on markings they look like cockerels. Maybe there's some breed enthusiasts who can help?

My experience,
Sharp V well defined on head and "eyeliner" all the way around the eye and drawn out at the outer corners
=pullet

Muddy, illdefined V on head,
Less defined or absent "eyeliner" =cockerel

Later when true feathers come in the pullets have salmon colored breast, while cockerels feather in black on breast.

Both genders are beautiful birds.
