Welsummer cockerel?

Hello! This is my 13 day old Welsummer chick I got from Ideal Poultry as a pullet, but I’m thinking he/she is a cockerel. It’s feathers are growing very slowly compared to my other chicks, it hasn’t even grown it’s tail feathers yet! It is the smallest chick I have. I really hope I’m wrong and it is a pullet, someone tell me it is a pullet! I can’t have another rooster so I will have to rehome or cull it if it is a rooster. I hope it’s not!

I was hoping it wasn't a cockerel, I can't have another rooster, if it is one I guess I'll try to find it a new home, if not I'll have to cull it, and I don't like doing that.

Yes. Welsummers are auto-sexing, so a female would have much darker and clearer markings.

Wait they are? I. I didnt know that. That means all the chicks I hatched are probably pullets? Omg? Granny will be ecstatic

It is a cockerel. His comb is quite large and starting to redden up. He also has the rust colored feathers.
