Welsummer cross

    This isn't so much a 'what breed is this' thread but a 'can you show me the breed'. I did post this in the breeds and genetics forum but with no answer.

    I have a 7 week old welsummer cockerel that I am hoping to get chicks from when he matures. The available hens he can cross with are Rhode Island reds, red sexlinks, barred rocks, Marans and light sussex. Has any one done any of these crosses before? If so, how did they turn out and do you have any pictures. Thanks, Jamie

    If you haven't used the calculator, here ya go.

    I've crossed a brown leghorn (same color as the Welsummer) with barred rocks to get sex link chicks. They looked pretty much like black sex links from the hatchery. That's all I got, sorry.
