Hi,

Starting at 12 o'clock and going clock-wise: male, female, female and ?.

The one at 4 o'clock appears to be a male as well but I can't see it well enough to know for sure.

God Bless,

I think when they are growning you can also tell by the color of their chest. Red chest feathers they are girls, brown chest feathers they are boy.

Well, it was a lot harder to get all 4 with eyes and chests showing than I thought it would be! So, I took another one with the tops of the heads too. For what it's worth here's an attempt at getting 4 chicks to pose!

Thanks for all your help!

I'm seeing 2 of each, time will tell the truth.
My welsummer chicks I've been about 90 % right.
And at 3 to 4 weeks its easier to tell. The roos combs will get big.

I'm gonna say 3 pullets and one cockerel. The one at 6 o'clock looks like it has a good eye-liner and I think the headcap is well-defined enough to say its a pullet. The one at 3 o'clock is a cockerel.

God Bless,
